Family
This series was made for my maternal relatives after my grandfather passed away. The work is organized around family memory and symbolic references, including Chinese zodiac imagery tied to different people in the family.
Engagement
An homage to a close friend's engagement. The proposal took place in an arboretum, where text was written in UV ink on flowers present, recalling earlier conversations about how bees see the world.
Sketchbook
I buy way too many journals and pens, where rough ideas, composition studies, and visual habits show up before they become anything finished.
Hawaii
These photographs came from time in Oahu, which is like a second home to me. I have a selfie somewhere with Jack Johnson but that's for another time.
